Targeted Interventions

The analysis is based on the monthly reports submitted by 52 NGO’s implementing Targeted interventions through GSACS.

Reporting Status:


The overall reporting from NGO (TI) is 89 % for the reporting quarter. Ahmedabad, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Panchmahal, Patan & Sabarkantha, have achieved reporting of 100 percent. Reporting percentage is between 80 to 90 % in Jamnagar, Kutch, Surendranagar, Mehsana, Valsad, Vadodara, Rajkot & Surat while it is low in Banaskantha (50%) & Navsari (33%) as shown in the above figure.

Number of STD Cases counseled, treated & referred:


The chart above shows the Number of target group individuals STI, provided counseling and treatment and referred in the reporting quarter.

Condom Distribution Reported by TI-NGO’s

The table below shows’ the number of condoms reported to be received and distributed by TIs across the state through free distribution and social marketing. These are consolidated figures for all districts.

Referrals from Targetted Intervention

The pie chart below shows referral linkages of TI NGO’s with HIV care facilities.


The targeted Intervention Projects are referring the clients to various facilities including VCTC, PPTCT, STI Clinics from NGO and Government. Others constitutes drop-in centers, drug de-addiction centers etc
